President Obama Talks U.S.-South Korea Free Trade Deal in Michigan (ContributorNetwork)

President Barack Obama was in Michigan on Friday, speaking to auto workers at the Orion Township General Motors plant. He met with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak to discuss the U.S.-South Korea Free Trade Agreement. Congress approved the pact by a large margin recently. Here's a rundown of that agreement and fruition of the 2009 auto industry bailout which Obama addressed.

$11 billion: Amount generated in annual U.S. auto sales by the agreement. The pact removes virtually all of the trade tariffs and opens the South Korean market to U.S. businesses.

70,000: Jobs that could be created by the pact. It does not include the number of workers whose jobs may be improved or expanded due to the reduced trade limitations.

80 billion: Dollars spent on the 2009 auto industry bailout. President Obama indicated U.S. automakers have made a noticeable comeback since that money was spent.

1 million: Auto industry jobs spared by the 2009 bailout.

40: Miles per gallon for the Chevy Sonic, the offspring of the merger between U.S. and South Korean automakers. Sonic is a fuel-efficient subcompact that replaces the Chevy Aveo.

14,495: Dollars for a new Sonic.

700: Dollars to add the 1.4 liter turbo option to the Sonic.

18-34: Age category the Sonic is geared to.

925,000: Projected subcompact sales in the U.S. by 2016. IHS analysts say this is more than double the amount sold in 2011.

80,000: Estimated annual sales for the Sonic. Sales of the Ford Fiesta should hit 115,000.

519 million: Dollars spent on advertising to promote the Sonic.
